1 in 5 Brits!

A new British poll, conducted by the Guardian newspaper, revealed that 1 in 5 British workers has had sex at work! That's gutsy. Furthermore, it also shows that 1 in 5 also had no desire for monogamy, and 3 out of 10 didn't even think it was natural! The English have always had a certain […]

A new study has been published in the Journal of Sexual Medicine, claiming that a woman's sexual history can be related to the way she walks. QUESTION: I am 18 years old, and recently bought a vibrator shaped like a penis to start “experimenting” with sex toys. I have never had sex, and have never done anything that involved penetrating my vagina. The first time I used the toy, I barely “put it in” and my vagina started bleeding. I am worried that this could be an infection of some sort that I never knew about.

100 college presidents urge debate around the legal drinking age

Last month, 100 college and university presidents urged that the debate around the legal drinking age be re-opened and re-examined, suggesting that illegal, underground drinking by college students may result in more binge drinking and unsafe behaviors (read a news report on the topic on the MSNBC web site). Of course, alcohol use can influence a variety of sexual behaviors too. In low doses, it may lower inhibitions and contribute to pleasurable sex. However, at higher levels (which can vary from person to person), alcohol use can impair sexual arousal and contribute to [more after the jump…]

Curious about the clitoris?

clitoris diagramMany women and men are curious about a woman’s clitoris - after all, it is sometimes described as a woman’s “pleasure center” and has a known link to female orgasm.

In teaching human sexuality classes here at Indiana University, quite a few students have asked me [more after the jump]
