Free Emergency Contraception in Indiana

Planned Parenthood of Indiana is giving away free Emergency Contraception (EC) pills for one day in various cities with a large campus population. With Spring Break around the corner (finally!), Planned Parenthood is taking the opportunity to promote safer sex and to provide information related to EC as well as the product itself.

The EC pill, known as the "morning after pill", normally runs about $32. It can be used up to five days after having unprotected sex, but the sooner it is used, the higher the effective rate.

Bloomington's Free EC Day will be Tuesday, March 4. The Planned Parenthood website has details for all 10 Indiana cities which will be participating in the EC give-away.
