Hip-hop culture and sexuality
Many people are interested in the way that hip hop culture reflects or even influences our lives. To what extent to the lyrics in songs dictate how women and men should act? Whether women are women or whether women are "hos"? How sex happens? Whether a condom is used, or whether sex is for love or just for sex? Sexuality is just one aspect of life that some wonder - and debate - about in regard to hip hop culture. Tonight at 7pm, Georgetown University professor (and author) Michael Eric Dyson will speak about hip hop culture at Alumni Hall on the IU Bloomington campus.
